Booking Policies
It is our priority to provide our clients with the best possible treatment on the day of their scheduled appointment.
Please kindly review our policies and understand when scheduling a treatment, you agree to the terms of the following policies.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please kindly aim to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
If you are running up to 15 minutes late, your treatment time will be shortened to fit your scheduled time frame. You will still be charged 100% of the booked treatment.
A delay of more than 15 minutes will be considered as a same day cancellation and you will be charged 50% of the booked service with the card on file.
Cancellations/REscheduling
We understand cancellations and changes occur. Should you like to cancel your appointment, please kindly provide at least 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled time.
If you do not reschedule or cancel within the 48 hour notice, this will result in a charge equal to 50% of the booked service with the card on file.
We respectfully ask for your understanding and cooperation to cancel and reschedule if you cannot make your appointment as another client may request to take your reserved spot.
Missed appointments/"No SHOWs"
Your scheduled appointment is especially reserved for you. We have immense respect for our client's time and would hope this is reciprocated to us at the studio. Please understand any missed appointments, "no shows" will be charged 50% of the scheduled service with the card on file.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. Full payment of the service provided is due at the completion of the service.
We accept Cash, Credit Cards, Venmo, Paypal and Zelle. Currently, we do not accept personal checks. We do not offer payment plans for any services and/or products.
REfunds
We do not offer refunds for any services provided.
Returns for products purchased at the studio may be returned in their original, unused condition. Returns may be exchanged for a different product, credit towards a service, or a full refund issued to the original payment method.
Returns must be made within 14 days of the purchase date. Returns outside of the 14 days will not be eligible.
Medical conditions
Your health and safety is our priority. Please communicate with us any medical conditions, prescriptions, allergies, injuries that could affect your treatment for the day.
As some treatments are not recommended for clients who have certain medical conditions, we may request a doctor's clearance prior to your appointment. (cancer, blood disorders and diseases, cardiovascular conditions, open wounds etc)
cosmetic surgery/botox/filler
Individuals who have had botox/filler (injectables) must wait at least 2 weeks before a facial appointment can be scheduled.
Permanent makeup (tattoo, micro-blading), chemical peels, cosmetic laser treatments must also wait 2 weeks to schedule an appointment.
If you recently had cosmetic surgery, we may request a doctor's clearance to perform facial treatments.
Clients who are prescribed Accutane must wait at least 6-12 months to schedule a facial appointment.
PERSONAL ITEMS
We generally ask clients to switch into a spa robe for treatment and to remove any jewelry. All belongings on the day will be kept in a safe and secure spot during the appointment.
Skin Aegis is not responsible for any lost, or misplaced items. We kindly ask you to leave extremely valuable items at home.
Age requirements
Please understand that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
